Explore Our Training

There’s more to CIRQUEfit NI than Pole and Aerial Hoop. Alongside our core Pole and Aerial Hoop programmes, we offer a range of specialist training including Aerial Hammocks, Trapeze, Silks, Aerial Chains, Chair Dance, Flexibility and Hand Balance.

Some classes focus on building strength and mastering new skills, while others explore movement, flow and creativity — and many combine a little of everything. Whether you want to progress through one of our structured training pathways, complement your regular course or try something completely different, there are plenty of ways to keep learning and developing at CIRQUEfit NI.

Pole Fitness

Pole is one of our core training programmes at CIRQUEfit NI, with a structured pathway designed to take you from your very first class through to advanced training.

Our Pole Fit courses combine strength, technique and skill development as you learn spins, climbs, inversions, transitions and combinations. Skills build progressively through each level, giving you the foundations you need before moving on to more challenging techniques.

Alongside our progressive Pole Fit courses, we also offer Spinning Pole, Pole Choreo and Pole Essentials, giving you even more ways to develop your training — whether you want to build strength, refine technique or explore movement and flow.

Pole Fit Levels

Beginners
Start from the very beginning, learning the fundamental grips, spins, positions and techniques you'll need as you begin building your strength and confidence on the pole.

Improvers
Build on your beginner foundations with more challenging spins, climbs and combinations while continuing to develop the strength and technique needed for the next stage of your training.

Intermediate 1
Begin developing more complex skills and transitions, with a greater focus on inversions, control and connecting movements together.

Intermediate 2
Progress into increasingly challenging skills, combinations and transitions while developing greater strength, control and confidence both on and around the pole.

Advanced
Our highest level of Pole Fit training, bringing together advanced skills, dynamic movement, complex combinations and higher-level technique for experienced pole athletes.

If you're completely new to Pole, our Learn to Fly Beginners course is your starting point. If you already have Pole experience but are new to CIRQUEfit NI, get in touch and we'll help you find the most appropriate level.

Aerial Hoop

Aerial Hoop is one of our core training programmes at CIRQUEfit NI, with a structured pathway designed to take you from your very first class through to advanced aerial training.

Our Aerial Hoop courses combine strength, technique and skill development as you learn mounts, poses, transitions, sequences and dynamic movements both underneath and inside the hoop. As you progress, you'll begin working above the hoop and exploring increasingly challenging skills, combinations and drops.

Alongside our progressive Aerial Hoop courses, we also offer Hoop Essentials, giving you dedicated time to develop the strength, technique and fundamental skills that support your progression.

Aerial Hoop Levels

Beginners
Start from the very beginning, learning fundamental mounts, positions, poses and transitions while developing the grip strength, confidence and body awareness needed for aerial training.

Improvers

Intermediate 1
Develop more complex skills and sequences, working with greater control and beginning to explore more challenging transitions and dynamic movement.

More Ways to Train Aerial Hoop in Mixed Level Classes

Hoop Essentials
A mixed-level class focused on building the strength and technique needed for key Aerial Hoop skills, helping you develop stronger mounts, inversions, transitions and overall aerial control.

Hoop Choreo
Explore the more creative side of Aerial Hoop, combining skills and transitions into flowing sequences with a greater focus on movement, musicality and performance.

Aerial Hammocks

Aerial Hammocks use a loop of fabric suspended from above, combining elements of aerial skills, strength and flow.

You'll learn wraps, poses, transitions, inversions and sequences using the fabric for support as you develop confidence and control in the air.

This is a mixed-level class and is suitable for complete beginners, with options and progressions provided to suit different experience levels.

Trapeze

Trapeze combines strength, balance and aerial technique as you learn to move around, underneath and above the bar and ropes.

You'll explore poses, transitions, balances, inversions and sequences while developing strength, control and confidence in the air.

This is a mixed-level class and is suitable for complete beginners, with options and progressions provided to suit different experience levels.

Silks

Aerial Silks use two lengths of suspended fabric to explore climbs, wraps, poses, inversions and flowing sequences.

You'll learn how to use the fabric to support and create movement while gradually developing the strength, technique and confidence needed to progress into more challenging aerial skills.

This is a mixed-level class and is suitable for complete beginners, with options and progressions provided to suit different experience levels.

Chains

Aerial Chains bring a completely different feel to aerial training, using both double and solo looped chains to explore strength, shapes, balances and creative movement.

You'll learn how to work safely and confidently with the apparatus while exploring grips, poses, transitions and sequences within and around the chains.

Aerial Chains is not suitable for complete beginners. We recommend that students have previous Pole or Aerial experience and are training at approximately Intermediate level or above.

Chair Dance

Chair Dance combines dance, movement and choreography using a chair as both a prop and part of the movement itself.

You'll explore transitions, floorwork, shapes and choreographed sequences, along with some fun acrobatic elements using the chair for support. Everything is taught progressively, so you can build confidence as you learn.

Heels can be worn if you want to add another dimension to your movement, but they're completely optional.

This is a mixed-level class and is suitable for complete beginners, with options and progressions provided to suit different experience levels.

Hand Balance

Hand Balance focuses on building the strength, stability and body awareness needed to become more confident upside down.

You'll work progressively on skills including headstands, handstands, crow and other inverted hand-balancing poses, developing your technique, control and confidence at your own pace.

This is a mixed-level class and is suitable for complete beginners — you don't need to be able to balance upside down before you join.

Flexibility

Flexibility combines mobility, strengthening and active flexibility exercises to help you develop greater range of movement with strength and control.

You'll work on areas including open hips and splits, active shoulder mobility, back flexibility and leg lines, with a strong emphasis on active flexibility — learning to actively use and control your range rather than simply stretching further.

This is a mixed-level class and is suitable for complete beginners — you don't need to already be flexible to join.
